Recently, I highlighted a Google Talk with Dan Savage and Esther Perel.
Well, today I came across another great one - this time hosted by Mindvalley and included a third sex expert - Marisa Peer.
This is another hour of very worthy listening. Topics covered included how to keep the desire going in a relationship, how to handle relationship conflicts and building friendship and intimacy with your partner.
Having recently re-seen in the news the abnormal sexual practices of the Catholic priests and Michael Jackson, it is reassuring to hear how healthy sexuality and 'happy enough' relationships is very broad and offers you so many more flexible ways about thinking about your partner, especially if you are in a long term marriage or relationship.
We tend to put so much pressure on our relationships and, on our partners. And, even on ourselves. Listen especially to Dan Savage in this one. I love that a gay man knows so much about better love for all of us.
Or, to quote Esther Perel who reminds us: "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new sights, but in looking with new eyes." Keep your heart and mind open, possibly broaden your 'non-negotiables' (some) and enjoy the roller coaster ride more rather than complaining about the price of it!
You WILL walk away from this discussion wiser about your love life...
